The Galaxy Explora is our newest leisure kayak that brings the comfort and speed of our flipper drive models to everyday kayakers. This model is designed to be used as a versatile kayak: from exploring your local area, to long distance adventures or getting some solid exercise in for the day.

The Explora comes with plenty of onboard storage which makes it great for taking gear with you on your trips. There’s a front hatch with access to the hull (perfect for storing your kayak trolley), a middle rectangular storage hatch for storing any items you want to have close at hand (this hatch can also be used as a live-bait well). Then like our other longer models there's plenty of storage available in the rear boot which comes with bungees to tie down any larger items.

With its 325cm length and 80cm width the Galaxy Explora is on the shorter side of our flipper kayaks which makes it very maneuverable. It’s the ideal length for a leisure kayak as it still maintains a good length making it glide along the water faster but not big and bulky to make it hard to transport. 

Another key feature of this leisure kayak is its comfort. The Galaxy Explora comes with our Voyager FX high seat which gives added comfort, and three different levels of height adjustments. This means you are able to spend more time on the water with extra protection from water and a much more comfortable experience.

The Explora differentiates from our other leisure kayaks for its speed. The use of our Ultraline Flippers means this kayak is powered with your legs and the flipper drive system adds increased speed with less effort.

Lifeline made from durable rope: this durable rope allows fisherman to connect items to it, and is useful for manoeuvres such as anchor positioning. Our new kayaks come with three colours with every kayak - Black, White and Orange

Rear storage area with bungees: the new models come with three coloured bungees for you to choose your favourite option (Colours included in kayak are Black, White and Orange). This area makes it easy to transport items on the kayak

1 rectangular central hatch: for easy access and general storage. Can also be used as a live-bait well.

10 drainage points: located around the kayak allowing you to choose where to drain water whilst maintaining desired areas dry

Voyager FX seat: this high seat allows you to sit in a higher position which means you get extra protection from onboard water and a much more comfortable ride. This seat comes mounted on rails allowing you to slide it backwards and forwards for the perfect pedalling position and balance. It also comes with three seating positions so that you can increase height and visibility when you reach your favourite fishing spots. Adding extra height is great for long sessions on calm water!

1 two-piece paddle: made from high-grade aluminium making it light and weather resistant. The paddle can be easily constructed and deconstructed for easy storage 

1 hand rudder control system: located on left side of seat for easy manoeuvrability of the kayak
